Toilet Repairs & Replacements

One of the most common things we repair and replace here at ABC Plumbing are toilets! A running toilet can cause many problems such as water damage, high water bills, and frustration when not properly working. Whether it’s not flushing properly, continuously running, wobbling or leaking from the tank, base or wall, we can get it back to proper function in no time. Our licensed technicians are able to quickly diagnose your toilet and provide you with a repair plan and with your approval, in most cases, repair or replace the same day!

If my toilet can’t be repaired, can you replace it for me?

If your toilet needs to be replaced, we can provide and install a new one for you of your choice! All installations include a new wax ring, new bolts, caps, water supply line and a bead of silicone around the base. We test all installations to ensure there are no leaks and no rocking, and will haul off the old toilet for you. All new toilet installations come with a one year warranty on labor, so you can rest assured that you are covered should you need any additional service on your new toilet.

What are the most common types of repair services?

If your toilet needs a simple or major repair we have many different options to choose from and together we can choose the best service for your specific needs. However we have listed the most common services here for you.

Minor Toilet Repair – Flapper and fill valve replacement.

Major Toilet Repair – Flapper, fill valve, tank to bowl kit, angle stop and supply line.

Pull and Reset – Includes new wax ring and silicone bead.

Flange Repair – Includes a new flange kit that includes a Pull and Reset service. Angle stop upgrade aka water shut off valve – includes new water supply line.

What is a flange?

A flange is considered a bracket bolted to the floor, holding a wax ring, that connects and seals your toilet to the sewer line. Even the smallest leak on a broken flange or a worn out wax ring can cause major damages to the subflooring of your house even though it may not be visible to the eye. If you notice anything such as a small amount of water around the base of your toilet or it possibly wobbles it’s time to have your toilet checked out.

What is an angle stop?

An angle stop, also sometimes known as an emergency shutoff valve, is the valve located on the wall behind your toilet that allows you to turn the water on or off to the toilet. These are actually located at any fixture in your home where potable water enters the home.

Do you install ADA accessible toilets?

Yes and more often than you think! ABC Plumbing can also install grab bars for you as well.

What do I do if my toilet is just wobbling or creaking?

Most cases you may need a new wax ring, or your toilet needs to just be reset. Sometimes houses shift which can cause the toilets stabilization to become compromised or a toilet that gets used frequently.

Do you do commercial toilets?

Yes we do and we also repair or replace urinals!
